We will have a great line up of South Downs food and drink producers, artists and potters, makers and creators showcasing the finest produce from our glorious landscape.

Fire and Forage Stage
The Fire and Forage Stage, hosted by chef Jacqueline Wise using the spectacular Vulcanus Grill, showcasing some of the nations favourite BBQ chefs
Including Hilary from @BBQLads, @Matblak, @slim_ricks_smokehouse and amazing local talent @woodfire_camping and @the_earlofmarchlavant. The menu will include local ingredients such as Sussex lamb, wood pigeon and plank smoked trout, not forgetting seasonal stars Asparagus and tenderstem.

Food
Celebrate the finest food in season, with farmers and growers using regenerative agriculture to bring superb local food to the festival.
From locally grown asparagus to an abundance of tomatoes, Hampshire strawberries to hedgerow elderflowers, estate honey to wild venison and micro-greens to cheese and charcuterie, it’s time to meet, taste and celebrate the South Downs farmers and growers.

Cookery Demonstrations
Along with our partners Hampshire Fare, we showcase the region’s finest chefs and local produce with cookery demonstrations across both days.
Get inspired with mouth-watering dishes as we choose ingredients from ‘The Street’ producers on site.

Kids, Crafts & Cookery Zone
The festival will encourage the younger generation to enjoy cooking, and exploring food with a dedicated zone and a range of activities to suit all ages.
They can even contribute to the festival discussion panel with their opinions on school food.

At the Le Creuset Main stage
the first day will host the Hambledon Wine Estate Talks on regional food, with award-winning authors:
Dan Saladino, presenter of Radio 4’s ’The Food Programme’ and author of ‘Eating to Extinction’, Alexandra Harris, author of ’The Rising Down’ discussing the people of the Arun Valley through history and the landscape architect Kim Wilkie. The winner of the Green Michelin Star, Ivan Tisdall-Downes will cook up an incredible dish of foraged South Downs produce for our lunchtime demo.

Drink
It’s time to raise a glass or two to our chalk-filtered South Downs drinks producers.
From the award-winning English Sparkling wines of Hambledon Vineyard to cider and apple juice pressed from the orchards of Blackmoor Estate, and beer brewed with Sussex barley, to gins and spirits using local botanicals.

We will explore regional food and drink on day 1, looking at regenerative agriculture in the South Downs and discover how schools can change our eating habits and inspire a new generation on day 2.

Live Music & Cocktail Bar
Enjoy legendary cocktails and mocktails from Grey’s Bars in the Lexus Pavilion.
With live music from bands such as Superstrings, The Mike Fry Trio and The Groove Surgeons, while kids can learn cooking with the Thermomix interactive kitchen, learn circus skills with Juggling Jake or explore the bouncy castles and other family attractions.

On Sunday, talks on ‘Food for Thought’
On Sunday, the Bedales School talks on ‘Food for Thought’
Exploring the challenges of how to nourish, fuel and keep healthy our school kids on tiny budgets, with award-winning Park Community School chefs, the founder of charity ‘Chefs in Schools’ Nicole Pisani, and Thomasina Miers. We will have a chef cook off and learn the increidble story of how Nicole Pisani went from being Head Chef at Ottolenghi’s famed Nopi restaurant in Soho to being a dinner lady (and co-founder with Henry Dimbleby of the charity Chefs in Schools.)

Street Food
With a mix of local and global influence, our local street food vendors offer a huge variety of delicious lunch options.
From Woodfire’s BBQ beef using Sussex produce, to Vietnamese street food – so you will be extremely well fed and watered during your visit.

Hambledon Sparkling Wine Bar
In the Hampshire Fare Cookery Theatre, local chefs and producers will be showcasing Hampshire’s finest food and drink.
You can learn from the people who’ve toiled away to make delicious produce, with inspirational recipes and cookery demonstrations. Discover the amazing chefs, restaurants and artisan producers on your doorstep.

Tea on the Terrace
Enjoy Tea and scones on the South Terrace of Stansted House, overlooking the festival.
There will also be a number of local mobile coffee and tea vendors around the grounds.
